A Finding of No Significant Impact (FONSI) for The Interchange project has been issued by the Federal Transit Administration (FTA). A copy of the FONSI and final Environmental Assessment (EA) can be obtained here.
A FONSI is an agency determination that a proposed action will not have a significant effect on the quality of the human environment and that preparation of an Environmental Impact Statement is not necessary. The environmental process for The Interchange is now complete.
As of March 3, schedule times along the Hiawatha LRT Line will be adjusted slightly due to operational changes associated with the closing of the track extension past Target Field Station. Trains from Target Field or the Warehouse District/Hennepin Avenue stations will pick up/drop off customers on either side of the platform. Check signs on the trains before you board.
